From Downtown Los Angeles
 From Western San Fernando Valley (Burbank, Glendale, etc)
From Eastern San Fernando Valley (Sherman Oaks, Encino, etc)

California Canteen is located in the Cahuenga Pass,
two blocks north of Barham Blvd.,
two blocks south of Universal Center Drive.

To get to California Canteen from:


Downtown Los Angeles

  • Take 101 Hollywood Freeway North
  • Exit at Universal Center Dr. (Universal Studios/Citywalk)
  • Go Left at the traffic light,
  • go over the freeway to Cahuenga Blvd.
  • Go Left at the traffic light at Cahuenga Blvd.
  • California Canteen will be on the right before the next traffic light (at Oakshire).


Western San Fernando Valley (Sherman Oaks, Encino, etc)

  • Take 101 Ventura Freeway South.
  • Stay on 101 as it becomes the Hollywood Freeway.
  • Exit at Lankershim, go Left at the light. This will put you on Cahuenga Blvd.
  • California Canteen will be on the right before the second traffic light (at Oakshire).


Eastern San Fernando Valley (Burbank, Glendale, etc)

  • Take 134 Ventura Freeway West.
  • Exit at Forest Lawn Drive.
  • Follow Forest Lawn to Barham Blvd (2nd traffic light).
  • Go Left at Barham.
  • Follow Barham up the hill, cross over the 101 Hollywood Freeway.
  • Barham makes a T with Cahuenga Blvd.
  • Make a right on Cahuenga.
  • California Canteen will be on the left after the second traffic light (at Oakshire).
